Who This Policy Is For

This policy applies to all users of the LTFN Connect Communications App and any mobile or web-based tools built for Lheidli T'enneh First Nation community using this platform.

We recognize that data held in this app may belong not only to individuals, but to the Lheidli T'enneh organization. We take that responsibility seriously.

We only collect the minimum information needed to provide a safe and effective communication experience. This may include:

From the Mobile App:

• Name and Email – Used for account creation, login, and password recovery
• Engagement Data – Basic app activity such as page views or responses to push notifications
• Address Information - Used for reaching out to band members to provide them benefits and information reagrding various schemes and opportunities applicable to their arera.
• Device ID – To deliver relevant push notifications

From the Web Admin Panel (for administrators):

• Platform Usage Data – To measure platform performance and user engagement
• Support Logs – When users contact us for help

We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell or rent your personal information.

Respecting OCAP®

We recognize that information shared in this app may be more than just data—it can be a reflection of community identity, governance, or knowledge systems. Lheidli T'enneh and Northern IT Solutions Inc. is committed to upholding:

• Access: Communities/organizations and their members have the right to view and manage their data.
• Possession: Communities/organizations have the right to determine how long they wish to have their data hosted/stored and when it should be permanently deleted from the secure servers.

• Provide support to users and community administrators
